Meet Blakely!
At just 3 years old, Blakely was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia after what seemed like a simple ear infection. Her fight was fierce with months in isolation, 21 days unable to eat or drink, and even a failed bone marrow transplant. Finally, with her mom as a donor, her body accepted the cells that saved her life.
After 9 long months in the hospital, her first request was simple: “Mom, can I say hi to the grass?”
Today, Blakely is sassy, spunky, and full of life, but kids like her can’t fight cancer alone.
Help give more children the chance to “say hi to the grass” again.

ACFC Hit The Road to Tucson!
Our team recently traveled to Banner University Medical Center’s Diamond Children’s Medical Center in Tucson to deliver bags full of essentials and a hot meal to the families we support. We got to meet some amazing kids and their families, sharing smiles, high fives, and a little encouragement.
We also toured the hospital’s new 7,200 square-foot Play Zone, a colorful space where children can dive into art, STEM projects, games, and more. It was a joy to see kids enjoying a break from their hospital routine, and it reminded us why we do what we do: to bring a little extra fun and comfort to families facing tough times.

Every gesture, big or small, has an impact.
Interest Ministries – A heartfelt thank you to Interest Ministries for their continued support and for making the trip to the Valley to see all of our updates and improvements. We are so grateful for their dedication—not only to ACFC, but to the community as a whole. Special thanks to Dan Shufelt, Mark Dyer, and Len Miller for their commitment to making our community a better place. We are truly thankful for this partnership, made possible through the generous support of the James A. Rae Charitable Trust.
NCL Canned food drive
The NCL Sonoran Centennial Class of 2031 hosted their kickoff meeting here at ACFC and generously organized a food drive just as our pantry shelves were running low. Thanks to their efforts, we were able to restock and continue providing for families in need. We are deeply grateful for community partners like these whose generosity keeps our pantry stocked and our families supported—your kindness truly makes a difference!
Volunteer Spotlight
Meet Jordin!
Jordin is a junior at Arizona State University, majoring in pre-med and balancing her studies with her passion for staying active and her love of animals—especially cats. She’s been volunteering with ACFC for a little over four months and has already made a lasting impact with her warmth and dedication.
“Cancer has very closely impacted my family, so I understood how difficult an experience it is for everyone involved,” Jordin shared. “I want to do my part to bring some light and do everything I can to help others through darker times.”
Her favorite part of volunteering is the time she gets to spend with the incredible kids at ACFC. “They have taught me so much and I am looking forward to the continued experiences we will share together.”
We love having Jordin as part of the ACFC family and can’t wait to see all the amazing moments still to come.
