Warrior Highlight

Meet Hunter!

Hunter is a 7-year-old Tucson warrior who has been bravely fighting a brain tumor since he was just 15 months old. Throughout his journey, he has undergone multiple surgeries, lost most of the vision in his right eye, and spent much of his life in treatment. Despite it all, Hunter continues to embrace being a kid every chance he gets.

“Our entire family truly looks forward to ACFC events,” his family shares. “They give us a chance to step away from the medical side of life. We are so grateful for the friends we have made through these events and the ongoing support from staff and volunteers.”

Families like Hunter’s show incredible strength and resilience through life’s toughest challenges. Your support helps create moments of joy and normalcy when they’re needed most.

Program Highlight

Teen Night

ACFC’s Teen Night brought our warriors and siblings together for an evening full of connection and cooking!

Teens learned how to make pasta from scratch, watched Ratatouille, and spent the night building friendships, both new and familiar. Moments like these give our teens a chance to step outside of the day-to-day challenges of treatment and simply be kids, laughing, trying something new, and creating lasting memories together.

Your support helps make evenings like Teen Night possible, giving our families space to connect, recharge, and find joy in community.

Donor Highlight

The Earnhardt Family

We are incredibly grateful to the Earnhardt Family for their generous $75,000 donation to ACFC, presented during their recent visit to our facility! Their continued support reflects a deep commitment to standing alongside families in our community when they need it most.

The Earnhardt family’s generous gift will directly support children and families facing childhood cancer, helping provide comfort, relief, and hope during life’s most difficult moments. We are beyond grateful for Earnhardt Auto Centers, whose commitment to our mission helps strengthen the support we provide to families across Arizona.

Thank you, Earnhardt Family, for your partnership and for helping us make an impact where it matters most.

Thunderbirds Charities

We were honored to host Thunderbirds Charities for the ribbon cutting of our Thunderbirds Charities Pantry at ACFC. Thanks to their incredible generosity, we are now able to offer a fully stocked, nonperishable pantry filled with healthy snacks, meals, home essentials, and hygiene items for our warriors and their families.

This space provides meaningful, everyday support to families navigating childhood cancer, helping ease burdens so they can focus on what matters most.

We are deeply grateful for Thunderbirds Charities’ partnership and commitment to our mission. Thank you for helping us care for our families in such an impactful way.
