While school is out, cancer isn’t. Because of you, families facing childhood cancer have a place to turn.
A gift of $29/month helps provide support all summer long.

Meet Madeline!
What started as a routine eye exam quickly turned into a life-changing hospital stay when doctors discovered Madeline had a brain tumor. Between frequent hospital visits and long days of treatment, ACFC has been a bright light during Madeline’s journey.
Madeline especially looks forward to her Sunshine Visits, where she can shop the Toy Store and play her favorite games.
“Not only do Sunshine Visits provide a safe, playful environment for Madeline while she is immunocompromised, but they also give our family a precious space for Madeline to feel like a kid again,” her family shares.
Families like Madeline’s remind us how important moments of joy, connection, and normalcy truly are throughout the cancer journey.

Warrior Birthday Party
We had a great time celebrating our May and June warriors at ACFC’s recent birthday party. Warrior families spent the afternoon enjoying cake, games, arts & crafts, and lots of birthday presents while making memories together outside of treatment and hospital appointments.
The event gave families a chance to connect, celebrate milestones, and enjoy a fun day together in a supportive environment. Seeing our warriors laugh, play, and simply be kids made the day especially meaningful.
A special thank you to Chick-fil-A Raintree for sponsoring lunch and helping make this celebration possible for our families!

Spines to Pines
Thank you to Grant Kingdon for hosting another successful Spines to Pines in support of ACFC. This year’s event doubled last year’s impact, raising more than $40,000 to benefit the families we serve.
We are incredibly grateful to all of the riders, sponsors, and supporters who helped make this event such a success. We can’t wait for next year!
OneAZ Credit Union
We are honored to be selected as a 2026 Community Impact Grant recipient by OneAZ Credit Union and the OneAZ Community Foundation, receiving a $7,500 award in celebration of OneAZ’s 75th anniversary of serving Arizonans.
⠀
This year, $360,000 in Community Impact Grants were distributed to 48 local nonprofits, thanks to OneAZ members who support their communities with every swipe. Each purchase contributes one penny to the OneAZ Community Foundation to help fund grants like ours. ⠀
⠀
This generous support allows us to continue making an impact through our mission to support children with cancer and their families throughout Arizona. ⠀

Meet Kathryn!
Kathryn has been volunteering with ACFC for about a year, first getting involved through National Charity League before continuing to volunteer independently. Over the past year, she has become a familiar and friendly face at ACFC family events, Sunshine Visits, and more.
“I love spending time with the warriors and I wanted to find a way to give back to my community at the same time,” Kathryn shares.
From playing games and chatting with warrior families to helping create fun, welcoming experiences, Kathryn’s dedication helps make each moment extra special. We are so grateful to have her as part of the ACFC community.
