At just three years old, Zya has faced B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia with incredible strength. Through a high-risk treatment plan, she continues to inspire everyone around her with her courage and creativity.
ACFC has been by her side every step of the way by providing financial assistance, emotional support, and moments of joy during her treatment. Program Highlights
Caretaker Night
ACFC recently had the joy of hosting a special evening of smiles and relaxation for over 40 parents and caregivers who give so much of themselves while supporting their children through challenging times. This event provided a much-needed opportunity for them to unwind, connect with others who understand their journey, and simply enjoy a night of fun.
The evening began with an interactive dinner with Hibachi Arizona, where families shared laughter and delicious food. The night continued with backyard games that brought out everyone’s playful side and created memories that will last long beyond the evening. Thanks to your support, ACFC is able to provide these meaningful experiences that bring hope, connection, and joy to families facing difficult circumstances.

Meet Debbie!
Debbie joined the ACFC volunteer team eight years ago after first volunteering with her daughter Cate through an NCL shift. Touched by the personal story Chrisie shared about Ava, she knew immediately that she wanted to support ACFC in any way she could.
“As a mom, hearing how cancer took Ava from her family and the life she was meant to live, broke my heart. It made me want to help other families facing the intense struggles of childhood cancer.”
One of Debbie’s favorite parts of volunteering is watching kids arrive with shy curiosity and leave with huge smiles, excited to come back. She loves seeing families discover that ACFC is a safe, comfortable place to explore, relax, and have fun.
