Meet Kennedy!
Kennedy is a vibrant 4-year-old whose world changed in an instant after her family noticed an unusual white glow in her eye during bedtime stories.
Since her diagnosis of a rare form of eye cancer, Kennedy has traveled to New York each month for specialized treatment in hopes of saving her eye. During every appointment, procedure, and trip away from home, Kennedy has faced this journey with incredible courage and resilience. Throughout it all, ACFC has been honored to walk alongside Kennedy and her family.
“Walking through their doors feels like coming home to family, and their events, counseling, and unwavering support have helped carry us through the emotional side of this journey,” her family shares.
Today, Kennedy continues to inspire everyone around her and reminds her family every day to slow down, embrace the moment, and choose joy even in life’s hardest seasons.

Back To School Pick-Up
Back-to-school season can bring added financial stress for families already navigating the challenges of childhood cancer, and ACFC is proud to help make the transition a little easier.
This summer, our team provided backpacks filled with school supplies for warriors and their siblings across Arizona. Families in both Scottsdale and Tucson received backpacks, lunch boxes, and essential classroom supplies to help students begin the new school year with confidence.
By easing the cost of back-to-school shopping, ACFC allows families to focus on supporting their child’s health while also making sure every child is prepared and excited for the year ahead. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who donated supplies, packed backpacks, and helped make this year’s Back-to-School Program possible!

Meet Shemesh Day Camp of JCC Valley of the Sun!
Our Resource Center was filled with creativity and kindness as campers from Shemesh Day Camp at JCC Valley of the Sun spent the day learning about ACFC and giving back to families facing childhood cancer.
After taking a tour of our facility, the campers helped fill backpacks with school supplies and created colorful artwork wishing our families a happy summer and a wonderful start to the new school year.
These thoughtful backpacks will help brighten the days of children facing childhood cancer and remind them that they have a community cheering them on every step of the way.
