Warrior Highlight
Meet Ava!
Ava was diagnosed with Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma in November 2024 at just seven years old. She bravely endured six months of inpatient chemotherapy and treatment before proudly ringing the bell on April 1, 2025.
Ava loves listening to Taylor Swift, building mini universes, swimming, and playing Roblox. She’s always excited to spend time doing the things she enjoys most.
“ACFC has been such a blessing to our family. From the financial support that allowed us to focus on what matters most — Ava — to the meaningful friendships we’ve made at the center,” her family shares. “Ava always looks forward to and counts down the days until she can see her friends at ACFC.”
Stories like Ava’s are a powerful reminder of how important community and support are for families facing childhood cancer. Donate today and help us continue supporting families like Ava’s.
Program Highlight
Caretaker's Night
ACFC’s courtyard was full of brush strokes, mocktails, and smiles for our Caretakers’ Paint & Sip night! We had a blast hosting our amazing caregivers and giving them a chance to relax, unwind, and connect with others who understand their journey.
Nights like these remind us how meaningful it is to give caregivers a moment just for themselves, allowing them to step away from the stress of appointments and treatments and simply enjoy being surrounded by a community.
Your support helps us continue creating spaces where families and caregivers can find comfort and connection.

Volunteer Spotlight
Meet Kari!
SKari has been volunteering with us for eight months and is a regular weekly volunteer, assisting with administrative tasks and supporting events. Her connection to ACFC comes from her own experience. After losing her mom to cancer almost five years ago, she wanted to give back and support children and families who are facing similar battles today.
“I love seeing the faces on the children when they’re able to forget about cancer for a while and just be kids,” Kari says. “I also love that ACFC serves the whole family, including parents and siblings.”
Kari’s dedication and kindness makes a real difference every day at ACFC. Thank you for all you do!
